An independent chapter of National Audubon Society, NVBA works to engage all northern Virginia communities to benefit birds and other wildlife. Your donation is tax-deductible and goes directly toward supporting our programs. See below for examples of how your donation might help the birds and to learn more about planned giving. What Your Donation Can Do:
$25: Two months of birdseed for a Stretch Our Parks site.
$75: One month of a Zoom subscription for presenting lectures and classes.
$150: Fee for an instructor for one hour of a lecture or class.
$500: Dozens of native trees and shrubs for restoring bird-friendly habitat.
$1,000: A scholarship for a local teacher to attend Educator Week at National Audubon’s Hog Island, Maine.
$2,000: Binoculars and youth education materials in English and Spanish for 8 nature centers.
$5,000: A local university student’s summer conservation project for local wildlife.
$10,000: Many months of support for our recently hired Volunteer Coordinator to mobilize the new and continuing volunteers who power so much of what NVBA does
