Join us for a bird walk at Riverbend Park! Walk leader is Colt Gregory and support lead is Kristine Lansing.

Directions to Riverbend for Conn Meadows area, Nature Center parking area Meet up Location:
From the intersection of Georgetown Pike (Route 193) and Old Dominion Drive (Rt 738), take Georgetown Pike west about 0.25 miles to the traffic light at Riverbend Road. Turn right onto Riverbend Rd. Proceed about 2 mi. to the sharply angled intersection with Jeffery Rd. Turn right onto Jeffery Rd. and continue 0.8 mi. to the main Riverbend Park entrance sign on the right. DO NOT turn into the main park; rather, continue straight on Jeffery Rd. past the park entrance sign. At the first sharp bend in the road, take a right. Continue along this one-lane road until you reach a "T" intersection of sorts, then hang a left. See map below.

IMPORTANT NOTE: Restroom facilities are not available at this meetup location. Riverbend Park's Visitors Center, however, does offer clean restrooms. Simply hang a detour at the main Riverbend Park entrance sign, building an extra 10 minutes into your commute.
