NVBA relies heavily on its members to execute its mission, and we’re currently looking for members interested in serving on our Board of Directors. Your interest in and commitment to the birds and what they need are the primary qualifications, but we are also hoping to recruit new board members with strengths in the following areas:
Finance and Accounting, to help with investments as well as month-to-month financial matters
Conservation, especially to help with Stretch Our Parks
Communications, including writers and editors, especially those with social media expertise
Diversity and Inclusion, to increase our reach and impact across all northern Virginia Communities
Adult Education, to help with bird- and conservation-related programming
